THE MUSHROOM KNIGHT creator Oliver Bly Wins Russ Manning Award at the 2024 Eisners
JULY 26, 2024, (SAN DIEGO, CA) — Mad Cave Studios is thrilled to announce that Oliver Bly, the creator, writer, and artist of the graphic novel series THE MUSHROOM KNIGHT, has won the 2024 Russ Manning Award, presented at this year’s Eisner Award celebration during San Diego Comic-Con International!
Oliver Bly is a cartoonist, mycology enthusiast, and invasive Philadelphian currently residing in Western Washington. His debut graphic novel, The Mushroom Knight, is an ontological urban faerie tale that explores the ecology of our day from a variety of perspectives—some plant, some animal, some human-animal, and some… decidedly none of the above.
